Our goal is to strengthen men and their families in the Catholic faith. Formation in our faith goes beyond mere facts or religious practice to an authentic connection with a loving God and his son Jesus Christ. What we do is designed to draw us closer to God and the Church in a tangible and meaningful way.
Build the Domestic Church
According to the Second Vatican Council’s Dogmatic Constitution on the Church: “The family, is so to speak, the domestic church.” (Lumen Gentium #11) This means that it is in the context of the family that we first learn who God is and to prayerfully seek His will for us. In the following bullet points you will find some suggestions on how to build your “domestic church” through a life of prayer that can help all the members of your family.
The Knights provide, at no charge, booklets which provide suggestions on how to build your “domestic church” through a life of prayer that can help all the members of your family. Strengthen your domestic church by grabbing one (or many) of the engaging, faith based literature available in the church foyer.
Pray the Rosary
There is no better way to build faithful families and communities than through rosary prayer. Praying the rosary encourages devotion to Mary, the patroness of the Knights of Columbus, and emphasizes the importance of prayer in community and as a family.
Join us every fifth Sunday to pray the rosary before the 8:30 mass; or participate in one of the many living rosaries in the area — see our calendar for more details.
Support Vocations
Help keep the faith alive by supporting our seminarians. As the strong right arm of the church, the Knights of Columbus are committed to providing moral, financial and spiritual support to future priests and religious at all stages of their formation.
You can help by assisting us with regular correspondence or financial support for our “adopted” seminarians.
